Christian Hölbling

Christian Hölbling (born June 21, 1972 in Bruck an der Mur ) is an Austrian artist , cabaret artist and comedian .

Life

Christian Hölbling, born in the Styrian town of Bruck an der Mur, graduated from a HAK in 1991 and, after working as a journalist, was involved in various animation projects at schools.

He has been a solo cabaret artist since 1991. For his first piece G'schichterln für's Herzerl , he was awarded the Grazer Kleinkunstvogel young talent award in 1992 . With his fictional character Helfried , a dry as dust, sadistic teacher, Hölbling began a series of comics in 2000 that has received numerous awards. In this role, Hölbling was seen several times on television in German-speaking countries and at the Arosa Humor Festival in 2008 . In 2013 he was seen as part of the Hyundai Cabaret Days on ORF.

In 2005 he worked as a director for the newcomer cabaret duo Winkler & Feistritzer .

After 15 years, Helfried became Hölbling again: “Now he hangs the shit brown suit in the closet and throws the philistine glasses in the toilet” (from the program text of Ich kann auch different!, February 2015).

He directs the International Humor Festival Velden , which he founded in 2009, and has been involved as Dr. Tiloff at the Rote Nasen Clowndoctors .

Since 2017 he has been moderating the program Vurschrift is Vurschrift on Puls 4 as District Councilor Helfried , in which bizarre civil servant stories are satirically processed.

Christian Hölbling has lived with his family in Schiefling am Wörthersee since 2001 .
