Martina Ebm (born February 24, 1982 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Martina Ebm was born in Vienna, moved to Mondsee in Upper Austria at the age of seven , where she attended secondary sports school. Among other things, she did apparatus gymnastics and judo and became a junior judo champion. After graduating from high school in Salzburg , she returned to Vienna. From 2001 she studied international business administration at the University of Vienna and from 2002 at the Medical University of Vienna . From 2004 she studied theater, film and media studies at the University of Vienna, completing her studies in 2010 with a diploma thesis on The foundation of acting is the reality of doing: the Americanization of Stanislawski's acting theory by Sanford Meisner . In December 2007 she passed the stage maturity test , followed by a six-week course at the New York Film Academy.

From 2008 she was seen at the Schubert Theater , the Wiener Schauspielhaus , the Komödie am Kai and the Salzburg Street Theater . From 2011 to 2013 she played the role of the young Alma in the polydrama Alma - A Show Biz ans Ende, directed by Paulus Manker .

Since autumn 2014 she has been a member of the ensemble at the Theater in der Josefstadt , where she appeared as Kati in Nestroy's Der Zerrissene and in the world premiere of Christopher Hampton's A Dark Desire in the role of Sabina Spielrein and in the role of Inken Peters in Before Sunset , as a girl in Am Ziel and as Fritzi in Anatol . In March 2018 she premiered at the Wiener Kammerspiele with the world premiere of Christopher Hampton's All About Eve based on the film of the same name in the title role as Eve Harrington, in September 2018 with the world premiere of the comedy Four Star Hours by Daniel Glattauer in the role of Lisa .

Movie and TV

In 2013 she starred in the film adaptation of Kurt Palm's novel Bad Fucking . Since 2015 she can be seen in the ORF television series Vorstadtweiber in one of the leading roles as Caroline "Caro" Melzer. The second season of the series aired in 2016, the third season was shown from early 2018. The fourth season, which will be broadcast for the first time in September 2019, is Martina Ebm's last.

In 2017 she was in front of the camera for the filming of the ORF / ARD comedy Dennstein & Schwarz - Death makes heirs , in which she embodies a lawyer alongside Maria Happel . In August 2019, filming began on two more episodes of the Dennstein & Schwarz television film series .

Private

Ebm is in a relationship with the Viennese director Umut Dağ . In 2017 she became the mother of twins , and in 2019 her third child was born.
