Stage maturity test

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Germany, stage maturity is the successful completion of professional training as an actor .

Until 1994, the stage maturity examination was accepted by the joint examination commission of the German Stage Members' Cooperative ( GDBA ) and the German Stage Association , which consisted of experienced actors, dramaturges, directors and directors. However, since graduates of private drama schools have to take a separate examination in front of employees of the employment office ( ZAV ) for state recognition (for the result of which the previous stage maturity examination was not relevant), the experts of the parity examination committee ultimately accepted the pointlessness of their actions and dissolved their committee at the end of 1994 on.

Since then, stage maturity has been checked at the respective drama schools by the teachers who trained the drama students.
