Targa is a German computer manufacturer based in Soest in Westphalia.

Targa GmbH manufactures desktop computers , notebooks , computer accessories and entertainment electronics under the trademarked name “Targa”. The products are primarily sold by the Europe-wide discounter Lidl . In addition, Targa worked as a photo service (paper prints, posters, calendars, greeting cards, etc.) under the name Lidl-Fotos (www.lidl-fotos.de) until November 1, 2018. The photo service has been offered under its own name since November 1, 2018.

history

Targa was created as Actebis' own brand in 1991. In 2003, Actebis sold Targa to a holding company owned by former Targa board member Michael Urban. In 2003 the company had 110 employees and was planning a turnover of 300 to 400 million euros for 2004. According to the Federal Gazette, sales of EUR 182.2 million were achieved in the 2005/2006 financial year and of EUR 147.9 million in the 2006/2007 financial year.
