Judith Kaufmann
Judith Kaufmann (born September 20, 1962 in Stuttgart ) is a German camerawoman .
Life
The daughter of the actress Lieselotte Rau and the publisher Friedrich Kaufmann grew up in Berlin . From 1968 to 1974 she attended the Johannes Tews elementary school there, then from 1974 to 1980 the Werner-Siemens-Realgymnasium , which she graduated from high school in autumn 1980 . She then received an apprenticeship as a photographer and then studied at the State College for Optics and Photo Technology .
Kaufmann worked as a camera assistant for Konrad Kotowski, Thomas Mauch , Gernot Roll and Raoul Coutard, among others . Since 1982, Kaufmann has increasingly focused on camera work in film. In 1991 she became chief camerawoman. She is a member of the Academy of the Arts in Berlin, the German and the European Film Academy . Since 1994 she has been represented with numerous teaching assignments and seminars , including a. at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences , the Ludwigsburg Film Academy , the German Film and Television Academy (Berlin) , the Cologne Academy of Media Arts (KHM), the Cologne International Film School (IFS) and the Hamburg Media School . In 2016 she was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the " Oscar ".
