Blickpunkt: Film is a weekly trade magazine about the film industry . In 2010 it was published in the 35th year . Publication day is Thursday. The headings are: This Week, Blickpunkt, Business, Production, Film Planner, Preview, Charts and Seven Questions for ....

The magazine reports on current events in the German and international film industry. The focus is on reports from film festivals , cinema releases, television events and economic changes. Since a relaunch in April 2016, Blickpunkt: Film has been reporting not only on the film and television industry but also on the digital home entertainment market, in order to take account of the film exploitation chain that has been changed by new digital media .

The magazine presents the Bogey Award for the most successful films .

Charts

The magazine provides an overview of the audience figures and box office results of the cinema and television evaluations. The German cinema charts are evaluated in four categories:

  1. Cinema Germany: Top 50 cinema hits of the week
  2. Kino Deutschland: Top 50 since the beginning of the year
  3. Kino Germany: Top 10 German films
  4. Cinema Germany: Top 10 average attendance (number of visitors per film theater)

The market shares of the distributors and the international cinema charts from Great Britain , France (both Top 15), Italy , Spain , Austria (all Top 10) and USA (Top 50) are shown. The magazine also provides figures on DVD and Blu-ray sales, DVD rentals and audience ratings .
