Marie Bäumer
Henrike Marie Bäumer (born May 7, 1969 in Düsseldorf ) is a German theater and film actress .
biography
Marie Bäumer was born in the Rhineland as the daughter of an architect and an occupational therapist . She grew up in Hamburg , where she attended the Blankenese grammar school and the Waldorf school in upper school .
Her acting training began in 1992 at the Scuola Teatro Dimitri in Verscio ( Ticino ) and in Studio 033 in Hamburg. From 1994 to 1996 she studied at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater , among others with Jutta Hoffmann . During this time she made her breakthrough with Detlev Buck's comedy Men's Pension . In 2002, Bäumer was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize and the German Film Critics Prize for her role in Oskar Roehler's Der alte Affe Angst .
In addition to her film work, Bäumer also played in plays. In 1995 she appeared under the direction of Dieter Löbsch in August von Kotzebue's drama Misanthropy and Remorse in the Theater im Zimmer in Hamburg, and in 1996 she played in a production by Falk Richter in the play Silicone in the Theater im Kampnagel . In 2007 she followed the call of the Salzburg Festival and played the Buhlschaft in Hugo von Hofmannsthal's play Jedermann .
In January 2011, Bäumer directed the production of the play she wrote, Abschied at the Hamburger Kammerspiele for the first time . They repeatedly appeared at the Dresden Music Festival at the Dresden State Theater with, so in 2013 at a Wagner evening; In 2016 she told the story of the heyday of bel canto in Italy in the world premiere of The Swan of Catania .
She regularly gives acting courses and workshops, for example she teaches at the School for Drama in Hamburg and at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy . In 2016 she was festival director and jury leader of a drone film festival. 2018 won Bäumer for her portrayal of Romy Schneider in Emily Atef's biopic three days in Quiberon the German Film Award as Best Actress . In addition to her work in acting, she offers courses on self-discovery and personal development , especially with horses .
Private life
Bäumer has a son with the actor Nicki von Tempelhoff , from whom they separated in July 2009. She lives in France in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue near Avignon . She is fluent in French , English and Italian .
