Vivian Naefe

Vivian Naefe (born July 21, 1950 in Hamburg ) is a German film director .

Life

Vivian Naefe is the daughter of the German film actress Jester Naefe and the entrepreneur Alfred Tauszky. As a 19 year old, she planned to study medicine to become a psychotherapist . But since she did not get a place at university straight away, she started an internship at the Munich evening newspaper . There she wrote film reviews until 1983, at the same time attended the German journalism school in Munich and hosted the show " kinokino " on Bavarian television .

Vivian Naefe then attended the Munich University of Television and Film and began making films there. Her first work was the film Sugar Loaf in 1982 . Vivian Naefe is now one of the most respected directors on the German film and television scene.

With the writer Remy Eyssen she has a daughter, Katharina Eyssen , who graduated from the University of Television and Film Munich with a diploma in 2010 and works as a screenwriter.
