Christian Jeltsch
Christian Jeltsch (* May 1958 in Cologne ) is a German screenwriter of the genres film drama and crime film , who works primarily for television productions.
Life
After studying the theoretical subjects psychology and theater studies for four semesters, Christian Jeltsch decided to work in theater, where he initially worked as an assistant director. At the same time he wrote articles for radio and newspapers. This was followed by training as a film copy maker. During this time, a documentary about the film work of the Cinematic in Montevideo under the military dictatorship and the first funded screenplay was created.
He wrote the scripts for two episodes of the series Peter Strohm with Klaus Löwitsch , followed by the first crime scene , the first police call 110 , the first television play.
Christian Jeltsch received the Adolf Grimme Prize for the television films Eine geht noch… (with Dieter Pfaff ), the Bavarian Film Prize for Rote Glut (with Richy Müller , Meret Becker and Michael Degen ) and the Bavarian Film Prize for the Promised Land (with Edgar Selge and Michaela May ) from the series Polizeiruf 110 the Marl Television Prize for Human Rights . In 2004 he received the Hessian Screenplay Prize for the screenplay Auf Ewig und ein Tag (with Heino Ferch , Martina Gedeck , Fritz Karl and Claudia Michelsen ).
In 2011, together with Olaf Kraemer , he began to publish the youth science fiction trilogy Abaton .
