action

The young, harried woman with the sunglasses and the interesting neck tattoo feels followed - is it the Asian bicycle courier or is there more to it than that? After all, her roommate Marwan is dead on the floor of the locked apartment. Therefore, she bursts into an interrogation, which detective chief inspector Inga Lürsen and her colleague Nils Stedefreund are conducting and is about to confess. Lürsen recognizes her after eight years and calls her Scheherazade , the storyteller. This states that her boyfriend is dead. The empty apartment, however, confirms to Lürsen that it is again dealing with a story by Scheherazade. Scheherazade / Manu claims that the dead person could be one of the 9/11 pilots. After a physical attack with the bicycle courier in a dark underpass, she convinces Stedefreund of her conspiracy theory. He even takes them to his home, where they investigate the contradictions. After he seems to have fallen asleep, Manu takes cash from Stedefreund's wallet and meets with a man. Inga Lürsen also had an encounter that night ...

The following day, Lürsen can tick off the other case and Stedefreund presents Mr. Lier, who claims to have seen a man in Manu's apartment. However, his statement proves to be more shaky. When Manu presented a video recording from September 11th in the police station that proves Marwan's innocence, it was to be handed over to the drug search on Lürsen's orders. However, this contact turns out to be a ruse and a short time later as a private detective who researched on behalf of the cleaning company Manu works for. Scheherazade / Manu is getting more and more nervous and sees threatening elements everywhere, which actually become real again in the form of the bicycle courier. She can overwhelm him. Interestingly, the head of the private detective agency and Lürsen's “encounter”, Rolf Jahnussen, who works for an international security company, meet.

The nightly events around Manu pick up speed when she uploads the video recording of September 11th from an office and is then followed and captured by the “private detective” Krauss and the bicycle courier. She manages to escape the two of them and catches Stedefreund in her apartment: “Shit!” Meanwhile, a corpse dog handler confirms that there must have been a corpse in Manu's apartment. The end remains open.

Reviews

TV Spielfilm judged: "The 9/11 terrorist attacks continue to have an effect as far as Bremen: (...) Visually ambitious, but confusing story."

Rainer Tittelbach ( tittelbach.tv ) says: “This film is an unusual“ crime scene ”. The erratic young woman also sets the tone aesthetically. The paranoia is given a fashionable look with color and assembly effects. The fact that none of this is annoying, but that after a period of getting used to it, you even get excited about it - this is mainly due to the convincing Esther Zimmering and the thriller moments that are repeatedly used effectively. In the end, the feeling is uncomfortable. "
