The three friends Anna, Julia and Katrin spend a cozy evening for girls. Around three-thirty, Anna and Julia make their way home. Anna is visited by the perpetrator in the hospital, but is able to flee. A little later she is murdered at home in the same way as Julia was before. Stedefreund, who arrives at the scene just too late, pursues the escaping perpetrator, but is attacked and bitten by her. For the rest of the episode, he struggles with fevers, nightmares, and hallucinations.
The trail leads to Nora Harding, who has suffered from a light allergy since childhood . She lives with her sick father, who regularly buys her cattle blood and brings expired human blood back home from his place of work, the incinerator for human waste . Her mother had successfully convinced her as a child that she was a vampire. She bit the young women and Stede friends in the belief that she could turn them into vampires in order to overcome their loneliness. It comes to a fight between Harding and Stedefreund, in which he wants to ram a wooden stake in her heart in his confusion in order to escape his apparent change into a vampire. His approaching colleague Lürsen finds the two fighting. Stedefreund takes advantage of the surprise and steps out through a glass door with the blinds down, where she is exposed to daylight and blinded. Due to her sensitivity to light, she loses orientation, while wandering around in panic, she falls unhappily over a stack of cobblestones, falls and breaks her neck on a stone step. Stedefreund comes to the clinic. Harding's blood bag might have had a virus that made him fever, rash, and delusional. He asks the nurse to draw the curtain because the sun blinds him. In the semi-darkness you can see Harding standing by his bed, she says: "Now we are together forever."
