Ulrike Knospe (* 1966 in Essen ) is a German actress .

Life

Ulrike Knospe comes from Essen. She completed her acting training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz .

Bud appeared primarily as a stage actress . After completing her acting training, she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden (1993–1996). This was followed by engagements at the Städtische Bühnen Heidelberg (1997–1998), at the Schauspielhaus Zürich (1997 and 1999–2000) and at the Nationaltheater Mannheim (1998–2000).

Her important stage roles during this time included: Nina in Seltsames Intermezzo by Eugene O'Neill (Theater Heidelberg 1997, director: Stephan Kimmig ), Mascha in Drei Schwestern (Theater Heidelberg, premiere: February 1997, director: Stephan Kimmig), Eliante in The misanthropist (Schauspielhaus Zürich 1997, directed by Werner Düggelin ) and Maria in Maß für Maß (Schauspielhaus Zürich 1999, directed by Volker Schmalöer ).

In 2003 and 2004 she appeared at the Bad Hersfeld Festival as Beatrice in the Goldoni comedy The Servant of Two Masters . From 2008 to 2010 she was engaged at the Lübeck Theater.

Since 2012 she has been a regular guest at the Bremer shakespeare company . There she played u. a. Gertrude / Ophelia in Hamlet (2012), Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night's Dream (2012–2013; next to Erik Roßbander as Oberon), Queen Margarete in Richard III. (2013) and in As You Like It (2014). In 2015 she took on the role of Elisabeth I in Schiller's Maria Stuart at the Bremen shakespeare company .

From 2000 to 2010, Knospe also belonged to the ensemble of the musical revue Liebesperlen at the Städtische Bühnen Dortmund with hits and music from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s; since 2011 she continues to guest with this show.

Bud also appeared in a number of film and TV productions. In the crime scene: A completely normal case (first broadcast: November 2011) she played Claudia Schwarz, the legal advisor of the Jewish community in Munich. In smaller roles she was in the TV movie Remember When You Can! (2005; as doctor Dr. Flanagan at the side of Dieter Pfaff ), in the ZDF crime thriller Bella Block: The Silence of the Commissioner (2009; as a kindergarten teacher) and in Hermine Huntgeburth's TV comedy Once Hallig and Back (2015; as a sophisticated, gossip addict Girlfriend Silvia).

She had serial roles u. a. in the television series Beauty Queen (2004), in which she saw Katja Seeberg, the wife of the cosmetic surgeon Professor Dr. Mark Seeberg ( Jochen Horst ), played, and as lawyer Anna Bechstein in the RTL series In the Name of the Law (2006-2008). She had episode roles u. a. in Der Dicke (2005; as client Susanne Kallweit), Coast Guard (2008; as wife Manuela Kupfer, whose husband is said to have abused a schoolgirl), Ein Fall für Zwei (2009; as suspect winery owner Britta Kaltensee) and Die Blaumänner (2012; as single mother Sabine). In the 5th season of the TV series In All Friendship - The Young Doctors (2019), Knospe took on a leading role in the episode as Ella Kling, the mother of the assistant doctor and the main character in the series, Dr. Vivienne Kling ( Jane Chirwa ).

Knospe also works regularly as a speaker for radio ( Radio Bremen , MDR , NDR , DRS , SWR ). Since 2011 she has been a lecturer at the TASK drama school for children and young people in Hamburg . Knospe lives in Bremen.
