Jochen Horst

Jochen Horst (born September 7, 1961 in Osnabrück ) is a German actor .

Career

Horst graduated from the State University for Music and Performing Arts in Graz in 1986 with honors ( summa cum laude ) in the field of drama and then moved to London to study method acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute under Anna Strasberg for two more years .

Horst was awarded the OE Hasse Prize for Best Newcomer of the Year together with Anne Bennent in 1986 and was known to a wide audience in the role of Sascha in the television series Das Erbe der Guldenburgs . In 1996 he received the Adolf Grimme Prize for his role in Balko together with Dieter Pfaff and Ludger Pistor . He worked in international productions such as 1990 in Die Entführung der Achille Lauro with Burt Lancaster and 1993 in Der Zementgarten and also works at the theater.

Private life

Horst married his colleague Anouschka Renzi in 1995 . He has a daughter with her. The marriage ended in divorce in 2000. In November 2002 he married model Tina Ciamperla . With her he has a son. He lived with his family in Mallorca before returning to Germany. He currently lives alternately in Berlin and Hamburg.
