Secretaries - Survival from 9 to 5 is a German sitcom that has been broadcast on RTL since August 22, 2013 . The leading roles are Ellenie Salvo González u. a. Nina Vorbrodt , Susan Hoecke and Jochen Horst can be seen.
After the series had bad ratings during its first broadcast in late summer 2013, the series developed into a technical success in various repetitions in the years to come. This prompted RTL to shoot a second season of the series, which was broadcast in 2020.

Katja Neumann is unemployed and looking for a job. A friend gives her a job in the (fictional) Sonnenschein-Toast AG in the post office. However, due to a mix-up and personal thoughts of revenge on the part of the HR manager, she is hired as the new secretary of the management. As a newcomer, her inexperience quickly makes her the target of intrigues, especially her two colleagues Nicole Sane and Melanie Weigand. This is also due to the fact that one of the managing directors, Markus Schoener, has an eye on Katja and Melanie feels hurt because she is unhappily in love with Schoener herself.
After initial difficulties, Katja manages to assert herself in front of her bosses and her colleagues. Above all, this happens because she manages to convince an important customer of the products of Sonnenschein-Toast AG and thereby free the company from financial difficulties. Katja becomes the most important advisor to her superior, Wolf Berger, who seems choleric and arrogant, but learns to respect her. With her lovable and subtle fighter nature, Katja also manages to exploit the intrigues of her colleagues (especially Nicole Sane) to her own advantage.

The pilot episode was on August 22, 2013 following the two similar series Doc meets Dorf and Christine. Yesterday was perfect! that premiered on the same day. The series was nominated in 2014 for the Grimme Prize in the entertainment / special competition.
- Markus Ehrenberg from the Tagesspiegel criticizes the television series as " clichéd ", with the secretary being portrayed as "Typos stupid and submissive and usually blond or long-legged or both" and the boss as "irascible and always ready". The television series cannot keep up with Stromberg .
