ITV Studios Germany is a broadcaster-independent television production company based in Cologne and Berlin . It is a 100% subsidiary of the British media group ITV plc . The formats range from show and entertainment formats to factual entertainment and fiction formats.
history
In 1999, Granada Produktion für Film und Fernsehen GmbH was founded as the German subsidiary of the British Granada Productions in Berlin. In 2007 the head office was relocated to Cologne, while a branch remained in Berlin. Granada has been operating under ITV Studios Germany since 2011. Christiane Ruff is the company's managing director.
Productions
The portfolio includes, among other things, I'm a star - get me out of here! ( RTL ), The Perfect Dinner ( VOX ), Grill den Henssler (VOX), 4 weddings and a dream trip (VOX), Asked - Hunted ( First ) and Kessler is ... ( ZDF ). At the end of 2013, ITV Studios Germany secured the rights to the TV version of the successful Quizduell app . In May 2014, the quiz show, where it was the audience for the first time by App possible to play live against the studio participants went in first for the first time on the air.
