The overalls

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Die Blaumänner is an eight-part comedy series by NDR , initially based on three “home stories” about two dissimilar craftsmen. They were first broadcast in 2005 and later supplemented with other episodes.

action

The focus of the overalls is on everyday stories from north Germany about friends and work colleagues Achim Kaiser ( Peter Heinrich Brix ) and Piet Bauer ( Jörg Schüttauf ) - one plumber, the other electrician. Because Piet was put in front of the door by his wife, the two men not only share a shop, but also an apartment. As typical representatives of small and medium-sized businesses and handicrafts, both try to face the pitfalls of everyday private and work life and usually overshoot the mark. There is also friction between the two figures due to their contrary temperament: while Piet acts energetically and quick-tempered, Achim embodies the principle of relaxation. With both, however, they clash with customers and builders as well as with the more or less interested ladies.

The books were written by Wolfgang Limmer and Sebastian Andrae . The directors were Guido Pieters , Lars Jessen , Peter Welz and Miko Zeuschner . Diana Schulte-Kellinghaus and Bernhard Gleim were the editors at NDR. The series is a production by Polyphon and Polyscreen .

All episodes were filmed in Winsen an der Luhe and the surrounding area.
