Peter Heinrich Brix (born May 13, 1955 in Flensburg ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Growing up on a farm in fishing , he first completed an apprenticeship as a state-certified farmer , which he completed in 1979. In 1983 he was on stage for the first time at a fire brigade festival in his hometown, where he is said to have discovered his love for acting. In the following years he played on the Low German stage of the city of Flensburg , but without giving up work on his farm. It was not until 1989 that he devoted himself full-time to acting. From then on he took on roles in theater and radio plays , but also in dubbing . Since the mid-1990s he played in numerous television productions.

Brix became known to a wider audience from 1995 through his role of the policeman Lothar Krüger in the television series Großstadtrevier ; after the 23rd season he left the series in 2010. In May 2009 the Hamburg police made him an honorary commissioner. He also plays one of the two main roles, Adsche Tönnsen , in the northern German cult series Neues aus Büttenwarder . From 2003 to 2014 he played the commissioner Geiger at the side of Ottfried Fischer in the ARD series Pfarrer Braun .

As a voice actor, he voiced Michael Newman in several seasons of the television series Baywatch . Since June 2015 he has been the First UNESCO Ambassador for Low German Drama.

From the episode Sievers and the woman on the train , he took on the main role of the commissioner of Robert Atzorn in the series North North Murder .

Peter Heinrich Brix is ​​married and lives in Hamburg.
