Jörg Schüttauf (born December 26, 1961 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a German actor .

biography

Jörg Schüttauf, the son of a worker and a nurse, grew up with two sisters. His elementary school teacher sent him to the Pioniertheater in Karl-Marx-Stadt, where he appeared on stage for the first time at the age of six. After completing the tenth grade, he took up an apprenticeship as a stage technician at the local opera house , which was followed by military service with the National People's Army . Then he attended the theater school "Hans Otto" Leipzig , which he graduated in 1986 with a diploma. He then got a five-year job at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam . He played inter alia, the title roles in Amadeus and the auditor of Nikolai Gogol . After five years he moved to the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin .

At the same time, he was seen in several films and on television in the GDR before he achieved his all-German breakthrough in 1992 with the leading role in Lenz , for which he received the Adolf Grimme Prize . For example, from 1994 to 1997 he was the main character Thomas Becker in the early evening series Der Fahnder .

From 2002 to 2010 he played alongside Andrea Sawatzki in the crime series Tatort as Chief Inspector Fritz Dellwo in Frankfurt am Main. In 1998 he played Jagdfieber in Tatort and in 2001 in Gute Freunde (both with Ulrike Folkerts ) himself as the murderer. 2006 played Schüttauf the acclaimed Munich scene Case casualties (with Miroslav Nemec and Udo Wachtveitl ) a "death helpers" .

Jörg Schüttauf is a member of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS) .

He lives in Caputh near Potsdam , is married and has a daughter.
