Götz Schweighöfer
Götz-Gustav Schweighöfer (born March 7, 1960 in Rudolstadt , Gera district , GDR ) is a German actor.
Life
Schweighöfer was born as the son of the artistic director Willy Schweighöfer . after the 10-class POS he learned from 1976 to 1978 the profession plumber / installer and worked until 1979 in this profession. After completing basic military service in the NVA , he completed an acting training at the theater college "Hans Otto" in Leipzig from 1980 to 1984 , from 1982 to 1984 in the Magdeburg studio.
This was followed by engagements at the State Theater in Eisenach from 1984 to 1987 and then at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin until 1989 . From 1989 to 1994 he worked at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and then worked as a freelance for two years. From 1996 to 2000 he played for the Altenburg-Gera Theater GmbH in Altenburg and Gera . Schweighöfer then worked at the German-Sorbian People's Theater in Bautzen until 2008 and has been a freelance actor since then.
In addition to his work as a theater actor, he also took on a number of television roles and was involved in radio play productions.
