Dirk Audehm

Dirk Audehm (born May 21, 1967 in Güstrow ) is a German actor , theater director and singer .

Life

Dirk Audehm attended schools in Güstrow and Schwerin and trained as a zoo technician from 1983 to 1986 . After serving in the army, he studied from 1989 to 1993 at the "Ernst Busch" Academy of Dramatic Art in Berlin and, after graduating, started working at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin , which lasted until 1995. Audehm then switched to the Leipzig Theater until 2000 . During this time he also had a lectureship at the local University of Music and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" . From 2000 to 2004 he worked as a freelancer and played at the Comödie Dresden and the Theater Magdeburg , among others . In 2004 Audehm went to the Theater Bremen , was again freelance from 2007 to 2011, before he was engaged again in Schwerin from 2011 to 2016. Since then he has been working freelance again.

Wolfgang Engel , Matthias Brenner , Karin Henkel , Peter Dehler and Peter Kube were some of the directors under whom Audehm worked. Audehm himself also directs and staged at the Leipzig Theater and the Mecklenburg State Theater. He also writes and designs solo programs and appears as a singer with the John Carlson Band.
