Ingomar von Kieseritzky (born February 21, 1944 in Dresden ; † May 5, 2019 in Berlin ) was a German writer .

Life

Ingomar von Kieseritzky came from the Baltic noble family von Kieseritzky . He attended schools in Stadthagen , Freiburg , Königsfeld and Langeoog . He then worked for a year as a prop master at the Goetheanum in Dornach , then as a bookseller in Berlin and Göttingen . From 1971 he lived as a freelance writer in Berlin.

On the one hand, Kieseritzky was the author of experimental prose , which always tends to be grotesque and absurd . On the other hand, with more than 100 titles, he was one of the most productive contemporary German radio play authors.

From 1998 he was a member of the Berlin Academy of the Arts . He was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Brückner-Kühner Foundation . Ingomar von Kieseritzky died in May 2019 at the age of 75 in Berlin.
