Brückner-Kühner Foundation

The Brückner-Kühner Foundation was founded in 1984 by the writer couple Christine Brückner and Otto Heinrich Kühner in Kassel . The foundation focuses on the field of contemporary literature and language culture with a focus on the comic and humor. The seat is the poet's house Brückner-Kühner , the former home of the two founders.

The managing curator is Friedrich W. Block . He has headed the foundation full-time since 1997. Kassel literature prize for grotesque humor

The Kassel Literature Prize for Grotesque Humor has been awarded annually since 1985 by the foundation and the city of Kassel. The prize is endowed with 10,000 euros. Authors of humorous, grotesque and comical literature are honored. In addition, since 1997, the Komische Literatur sponsorship prize, endowed with 3000 euros, has been awarded to authors under 35 who are just starting out.

Friends of Brückner-Kühner

The Freundeskreis Brückner-Kühner supports the foundation in its work and advocates the preservation of the foundation and the Brückner-Kühner poet's house.
