The sinter tube cave near Deutschfeistritz is 400 m above sea level. A. im Kugelstein north of the main town of Deutschfeistritz and northwest of Peggau , Styria in Austria .

The sinter tube cave is located on the eastern slope of the Kugelstein on the western wall of the southern portal of the Kugelstein tunnel of the southern railway through the Kugelstein. The access to the cave was exposed during the construction of the railway tunnel and then walled up again.
description
The approximately 15-meter-long sinter tube cave runs along a cleft in a northeast-southwest direction . From the entrance, a corridor about 4 meters long and 1 meter high leads to a crevice. A 1.5 meter high step leads from the column to a 5 meter long, 1.5 meter wide and 2 meter high room. The room has white stalactites and numerous sintered tubes up to 0.5 meters long hanging from the ceiling . Another low corridor adjoins the room, which also has some stalactites.
The cave floor consists of cave clay and frost debris .
