Heinrich Kusch

Heinrich Kusch (* 1948 in Graz ) is an Austrian prehistorian , cave researcher and author .

life and work

Kusch studied ancient history and antiquity, ancient oriental studies, prehistory and early history at the Karl-Franzens University , where he graduated with a doctorate in philosophy. He has been working intensively with earth stalls in Austria for years . With his research on speleology he gained international attention. He worked as a lecturer at the University of Graz and was curator of exhibitions on man-made underground facilities on every continent.

Heinrich Kusch conducts research together with his wife Ingrid Kusch (* 1954 in Graz), who is also the co-author of many of his publications.
