Hansjürgen Hürrig (born October 22, 1944 in Dresden ; also Hans-Jürgen Hürrig ) is a German actor .

Live and act

Hansjürgen Hürrig grew up in his hometown and initially trained as a painter before studying from 1969 to 1972 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art in Berlin . Hürrig was able to successfully establish himself as a theater and film actor. Theater engagements have taken him to the stages of the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam and the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. As early as the 1970s, he was seen in film and television productions for DEFA and DFF .

Hürrig became known to a large television audience through the role of the chief prosecutor in the crime series Bella Block . In the television series Weissensee he portrayed the Stasi Lieutenant General Gaucke. He also appears in numerous well-known German-language television series as an episode actor. He has been awarded the Berliner Zeitung's Critics' Prize several times and received the Golden Laurel .

Hansjürgen Hürrig lives in Potsdam .
