Thilo Reffert
Thilo Reffert (born July 13, 1970 in Magdeburg ) is a German playwright , radio play author and children's book author .
Life
Reffert initially studied medicine for several semesters. Later he founded a theater group, studied theater studies and modern German literature and worked as a dramaturge and theater pedagogue . From 2001 Reffert began to write plays. His pieces were u. a. Performed at the Theater der Altmark Stendal, at the Saarland State Theater and at the Ohnsorg Theater . The classroom piece “Empty Bottle” achieved particular fame .
At the same time, Reffert works as a radio play author, wrote a. a. a crime series about the lovable chaotic Tom Felski and was the author of the radio Tatort for the MDR from 2009 to 2019 . In 2010 he was awarded the most important German radio play prize, the War Blind Radio Play Prize.
In 2010 his first children's book “Nina and Paul” was published. The radio play version of "Nina und Paul" (production: Deutschlandradio Kultur) was awarded the German Children's Radio Play Prize. The children's book “Australia, I'm coming” , published in 2012, has been named Book of the Month for June 2012 by the German Academy for Children's and Young Adult Literature . His classroom drama Nina and Paul received the Mülheim Children's Play Prize in 2013 .
Private
Thilo Reffert is the son of the doctor Annemarie Reffert , who was the first person to cross the border from the GDR to the FRG after the opening was announced on November 9, 1989; He set this to music in the radio play The security of a closed passenger cell . He lives as a freelance writer on the outskirts of Berlin.
