The Theater der Stadt Aalen is a city ​​theater in the Baden-Württemberg city ​​of Aalen .

The theater was founded in 1991. With a small festival ensemble and changing guests, around 500 events are brought to the Aalen stages every year. Contemporary drama is at the center of the program; Modern classic productions, pieces for young audiences, song recitals and staged readings are also an integral part.

Since the 2013/14 season, the house has been run by a management team made up of artistic director Tonio Kleinknecht, chief dramaturge Tina Brüggemann and the director of the children's and youth theater, Winfried Tobias.
