The radio play editors of ARD , Deutschlandradios , ORF and SRF nominate for the ARD radio play days , which have been taking place every November since 2006 at the Center for Art and Media (ZKM) and the State University of Design Karlsruhe (HfG) each with its own production. After hearing them together, the pieces will be evaluated by the five-person jury and then discussed further by the audience and the makers. At the end of the day, the jury will decide on the winner in a closed session. At the same time, the audience has the opportunity to vote for their favorites from the twelve nominations at the terminals provided on site or from home with the ARD Online Award .
