Aljoscha Stadelmann

Aljoscha Stadelmann (* 1974 in Wuppertal ) is a German actor .

Life and career

After graduating from high school in Kassel , Stadelmann worked as an assistant director at the Schauspielhaus Bochum in 1993 and 1994 . He then studied acting at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater until 1997 . From 1997 to 1999 an engagement at the Schauspiel Leipzig followed , then from 1999 to 2001 an engagement at the Staatstheater Kassel . From 2001 Stadelmann played at the Theater Basel (until 2006), then at the Schauspiel Frankfurt (until 2009), then at the Schauspiel Hannover (until 2014). He was then a permanent member of the ensemble at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, and has been part of the Berliner Ensemble since the 2017/18 season .

In 2010 he took on the role of the German terrorist Wilfried Böse in Carlos - The Jackal, directed by Olivier Assayas . In 2014 Stadelmann worked again with Assayas for Die Wolken von Sils Maria .
