SK Kölsch was a German television series produced in Cologne , which was broadcast on Sat.1 from 1999 to 2006 .

action

The macho Jupp Schatz and the homosexual, sensitive Klaus Taube form a team as chief inspectors at the Cologne criminal police. Schatz tends to make decisions spontaneously and instinctively, while his colleague, who previously worked for the BKA , always adheres to the service regulations and makes decisions based on facts. They seem completely different, but it is precisely this mixture that makes their team so successful. However, Jupp also has a sensitive side and has to look after their son Florian after the death of his ex-wife Ellen Hennes. Taube und Schatz are supported in their investigations by the computer specialist Hauptmeister Achim Pohl, Detective Superintendent Gabi Schmitz, as well as the Detective Superintendent Dino Riaci (season 1) and Detective Superintendent Gino Bruni (from season 2), as well as the civilian employee Jenny Brückner (season 2). The superior Heinrich Haupt also has nothing to object to the relaxed atmosphere at the station. After Taube has quit the service, he will be replaced (from the 4th season) by Falk von Schermbeck, who does not differ from him in his characteristics. Haupt is retiring (7th season) and Detective Chief Inspector Gesine Westfahl becomes the new boss (7th season).

Since the broadcast in the final season was no longer chronological, or four episodes that had not been broadcast before were appended at the end, Haupt does not say goodbye to the penultimate episode, while Westfahl is already on duty in the first episode of season 7 has started.

- Fernsehlexikon.de

"With 'SK Kölsch' the action takes a back seat, but (psychological) tension and a lot of humor are guaranteed."
