Ingrid Stein (* 1942 , according to other information 1940; † probably February 2020) was a German actress .

Life

Ingrid Stein received her acting training at the Folkwang School in Essen . She had theater engagements in Cologne, Krefeld, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main and at the Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss (1980–1982).

In the 1983/84 theater season she was with Mother Courage and her children in a production of the Munich Schauspielbühne (director: Wolfgang Liebeneiner ) as warehouse whore Yvette Pottier at the side of Hilde Krahl (Mother Courage) on tour through Germany. With a production of Romeo and Juliet by the theater company “Das Ensemble” (direction: Peter Jacob / Ellen Schwiers ), she toured repeatedly in the 1980s, sometimes with her husband and son as stage colleagues. She also played several times at the Millowitsch Theater in Cologne , a. a. in the season 1987/88 as partner of Willy Millowitsch in the Schwank Derreal Jakob by Franz Arnold and Ernst Bach . In the 1990/91 season she appeared at the Contra-Kreis-Theater in Bonn with Britta Schmeling and Jochen Schroeder as partners in the tabloid comedy Even before the wedding . In the 1992/93 season she played at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater in Hamburg in Rolf Hochhuth's play Wessis in Weimar in a stage version created for the Hamburg Tournee Theater Greve, with which she then performed in Germany in the 1993/94 season -Tour went. From 1993 to 1996 she performed at the Jagsthausen Castle Festival .
