Gisela Fritsch (born November 24, 1936 in Berlin ; † July 3, 2013 there ; also Gisela Pukaß-Fritsch ) was a German actress and voice actress .

Life

Growing up in Berlin, she first completed an acting training at the Fritz Kirchhoff School and toured with theater performances through Kassel, Hanover and Berlin. She had her first cinema appearance in 1954 in the German film adaptation of King Drosselbart . Later she was in cinema and TV films such as B. the German-Dutch production Eight Girls in the Boat (1957), Isn't Mama fabulous? (1962) or Today my husband announces to see me (1962).

In addition to her acting work, she also worked as a dubbing and radio play speaker. Her best-known speaking role has been that of reporter Karla Kolumna since 1977, both in the radio play and in the cartoon series Benjamin Blümchen and Bibi Blocksberg . After her death, Ulrike Stürzbecher took over this role.

Gisela Fritsch was married to her colleague Joachim Pukaß . Their daughter Melanie Pukaß also works as a voice actress and actress.

Burial place

On July 3, 2013, Gisela Fritsch-Pukaß died of complications from cancer in Berlin. The funeral service took place in the Evangelical Church of Nikolassee .
