Cecilia Verónica Pillado Calise , (* 1966 in Mendoza , Argentina ) is an Argentine actress , pianist and composer with Italian roots.

Life

She completed her musical education at Cuyo University in Argentina with Juan Salomon with distinction. As a scholarship holder of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, she studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin with László Simon and Georg Sava and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Alfons Kontarsky .

In addition, she took master classes as a pianist with Leon Fleisher , Maria Curcio and Paul Badura-Skoda, among others . She was trained in jazz and improvisation by Walter Norris . She attended courses in composition with Witold Szalonek .

She worked as a soloist a. a. together with the Philharmonic Orchestra Buenos Aires, the Munich Symphony Orchestra , the Anhalt Philharmonic Orchestra , the Orchestra di Padova and the Orchestra Regionale del Lazio Roma. As a chamber musician , she has performed with various ensembles, such as B. the Italian Ensemble Novecento or the Philharmonic Wind Quintet Berlin .

Cecilia Pillado has made guest appearances in the USA , South America , Europe and Asia .

She also works as a stage actress . Based on the character Annie Wilkes from the film Misery , she played the fanatical Catholic psychopath Simonetta Paternostro in The Founder in 2009 . On April 13, 2012, Pillado was in the last two episodes, which were broadcast as a double episode, in the telenovela Anna and Love . In 2015, Cecilia Pillado played for Eric Dean Hordes alongside Helmut Krauss , Katy Karrenbauer and Jiří Lábus in the film Goblin - That's Real Troll the role of the curious neighbor Béatrice la Maitresse.
