Season overview
1st season (Anna & Jonas; episodes 1–311)
Anna Polauke would actually like to work in the advertising agency “Broda & Broda”, but because of her shyness that is not possible. That's why she helps out her mother Susanne in the restaurant. There she meets Jonas Broda and falls in love with him at first sight. Anna's half-sister Katja is an occasional model and is also interested in Jonas. Katja applies successfully with Anna's application concept and soon starts a relationship with Jonas. Since she doesn't have any good ideas herself, she finds Anna a job in the agency. Only Gerrit Broda and the commissioned photographer Jannick recognize that Anna is creative, but cannot sell her ideas because of her shyness. After all, Gerrit is the only one in the agency who is willing to work with Anna, but tries clumsily to approach her and presents her ideas as his. Anna finds out that her understanding and helpful chat partner on the Internet portal for advertising professionals is Jonas. Anna doesn't dare to reveal her identity to Jonas and finally breaks off the internet contact. Jonas finds out that Anna provided Katja with ideas. Due to a lack of common interests, the relationship between Katja and Jonas begins to run down.
Jannick confesses his love to Anna. She starts a relationship with him, although he is only second choice for her. Natascha and Gerrit try to ruin the agency so that they can then buy it cheaply with embezzled agency funds. Anna cannot uncover the intrigue, but she can prevent bankruptcy. During the Christmas party, Jonas confuses the costumed Anna with Katja and kisses her under the mistletoe. He asks Anna to fight her shyness so that she can better present her ideas to customers. When Jonas and Katja want to get married, Anna also accepts Jannick's marriage proposal. Both couples want to get married on a Hallig at the same time. When Jannick and Katja fall ill there, Anna and Jonas want to get a doctor. There is a kiss on the way. The doctor, who is also a registrar, takes them for a bridal couple and declares them married. When Jannick and Katja find out about the kiss, they end their relationships. Jonas and Anna's wedding is canceled. A little later, Katja returns to Jonas and the agency as a model.
Anna starts taking stimulant pills so she can sell her ideas to clients and direct the shoot. Gerrit stages the theft of film roles for which Anna had taken responsibility. Anna can track down the thief, but has to steal from her stepfather Armin for 5000 € to get the film back. The returned rolls of film are exposed and Anna is released as a saboteur. Her stepfather temporarily evicted her from the house because of the theft.
Robert Broda has to sell the agency to an anonymous consortium backed by his ex-wife Natascha and his son Gerrit. Robert and Jonas are secretly working on an advertising film for a competition that they can only complete in cooperation with the agency. Therefore, they arrange a temporary collaboration with the rest of the family. Anna applies to Gerrit, who promotes her to head of the campaign and procures her tablets. Gerrit finds out everything and bribes a juror. The film prize is awarded to the spot and Natascha and Gerrit are honored as authors. Robert begins to choke Natascha in front of the restaurant during the victory celebration. Gerrit kills him with the trophy and stages a fatal car accident together with Natascha. Because Katja happened to be at the scene and recorded everything, she blackmailed them. She demands that Jonas be made managing director.
Jonas helps Anna overcome her pill addiction and practices with her coping with difficult social situations. Anna accompanies him in his grief for his father. Through threats and a lot of money, Gerrit gets Katja to emigrate to the United States. Jonas and Katja get married in Las Vegas and return. Jonas sees a declaration of love recorded by Anna. However, Anna denies her seriousness and buries her hopes.
A pharmaceutical company wants to bring a dietary supplement for pregnant women onto the market and commissions the agency with PR measures. Anna and Jonas sabotage the charity event organized by Katja to launch the drug because they have legitimate doubts about the safety of the drug. Jonas is pushed in front of a car in the turmoil and seriously injured. In the hospital he wonders whether he has married the wrong woman with Katja. Meanwhile, Anna quits without notice and is back to work in her mother's restaurant. The client demands compensation from the agency, which is why the agency must apply for a loan. The bank has the agency check the creditworthiness. The management consultant manages that Anna returns to the agency for a job and Jonas is appointed managing director. When Jonas found out that Gerrit had done business with a loan shark, he gave him notice without notice.
At the request of her sister to respect their marriage, Anna Jonas terminates the friendship that has become very close. Katja pretends to be pregnant for Jonas to persuade him to stay with her and is preparing a church wedding. When Anna and Jonas meet again the night before, they feel irresistibly drawn to each other and spend the night together. Jonas cancels the wedding and wants to start a relationship with Anna. Out of consideration for the “pregnant” Katja, she refuses. She finds out that Jonas and Anna slept together. Out of anger she sleeps with Gerrit and becomes pregnant by him. Jonas wants to take responsibility for "his" child and remains in a relationship with Katja.
Jonas finds a new ally within the company in the photographer Alex Zeiss, his father's illegitimate son. Anna takes a new job in Hamburg, where she meets Alex, who is getting advice from her employer about implementing a project. She learns that Alex killed a friend in a sports accident and tries to talk him out of his self-allegations. Gerrit and Katja drive Alex away by repeatedly reminding him of the accident and Gerrit accusing him of bodily harm. Jonas, who is jealous of Alex because of his closeness to Anna, believes Gerrit and gets into an argument with Alex.
Gerrit steals Anna's idea and sells it to the customer for “Broda & Broda”. Anna is therefore dismissed without notice. Jonas initially does not believe Anna's accusations against Gerrit. But when she can prove the theft of ideas, Jonas and Natascha offer her a job and money as compensation. But Anna declines her offers and tells the customer that "Broda & Broda" has stolen her idea. The client then withdraws the vital order from the agency and offers Anna the independent implementation of the commercial. She starts a successful small business with Alex and they become a couple. Nevertheless, Jonas ends the relationship with Katja because of his feelings for Anna. Anna and Alex agree to work with “Broda & Broda” because a follow-up order is too big for them alone. Katja rejects Gerrit's love and shortly thereafter loses her unborn child. She can persuade Anna that she pushed her and thereby caused his death. Katja uses the common grief to get closer to Jonas again. Katja's doctor gives Anna a crucial clue so that this time she can expose Katja's lies.
Gerrit sells his shares to competitors Annett and Richard Darcy, who appoint him as second managing director. Anna, Alex and Jonas discover the truth about Robert's death. Katja prevents Natascha's self-disclosure by threatening to accuse Natascha of the crime instead of Gerrit. After a suicide attempt, Natasha's health deteriorates drastically. Gerrit tries to murder Natascha to prevent her testimony, but his act fails and she recovers. Gerrit flees from the police with Katja, who was convicted of blackmail. But when she realizes that she cannot run away from her old life, she surrenders.
Meanwhile, Anna's father Ingo appears unexpectedly. Anna is shocked when she learns from her father that Armin is really behind the drug deals that were put on him years ago. Together with Alex and her father, Anna sets a trap for Armin. He wants to store drugs in the restaurant in order to get money for Katja's bail. For the sake of the family, however, Anna does not extradite Armin, but gets him to make a confession and uses the first money that her newly founded agency brings in for the bail. Katja starts to work with her mother in the restaurant in order to build a new life for herself. Gerrit turns up unexpectedly and blackmails Katja so that she can get the key to the company safe from “Broda & Broda” for him. In her need she gives him another key. When Gerrit wants to stab Katja at the handover, a fight breaks out. With the knife in his stomach, Gerrit falls into an old factory pit. The police believe that Gerrit was killed by the mafia and declare him dead. But then Gerrit turns up at his own memorial service.
Alex and Anna want to get married. Jonas decides to withdraw from the agency for the time being and to forget Anna. Anna cancels the wedding because of her feelings for Jonas. This wants to go back to the USA. At the airport, however, he decides to stay in Berlin and give Anna and himself one last chance. When Anna realizes how badly she has hurt Alex and that there is no longer a future for him and her, she wants to join Jonas. The two meet at the airport and realize that they are still in love with each other. Shortly afterwards Anna and Jonas get married.
Anna's cousin Jojo, who is in prison, receives a visit from his sister Mia. She meets Alex by chance and falls in love with him. Alex becomes the new managing director of "Broda & Broda" and consoles himself with Annett.
2nd season (Mia & Alex; episodes 312-564)
Mia Maschke can neither read nor write. She comes to Berlin to pay for her brother's lawyer, who is innocent in prison. To do this, she has to spy on Alex Zeiss, with whom she fell in love.
On the way to their honeymoon, Anna and Jonas are kidnapped by Gerrit. Mia and Alex go on a quest to get closer to each other. Finally Anna and Jonas can be freed. Gerrit, who has a high fever, dies and Anna falls into a coma for some time. Mia thinks he's not the right man for her after Alex makes a stupid comment about illiteracy.
Katja receives a role offer for a Hollywood film, which she accepts with pleasure. In the event of a dispute, Armin and Ingo set off a fire in the Goldelse. Mia saves Alex at the last second. However, Annett manages to pretend that she is the heroine and that she freed him from the flames. Armin uses a trick to collect the insurance for the burned down "Goldelse" and flees Berlin.
Katja is injured in the fire and has to be operated on. After the operation, it is initially unclear whether she will be able to walk again. She takes this opportunity to present herself as the suffering victim. But soon her recovery is certain. She tries to hide this, but when her family discovers her secret, Katja leaves Berlin to see her father. Anna and Jonas leave Berlin for Los Angeles.
Due to a misunderstanding, the whole agency believes that Mia is with Lars. A relationship develops from the initial charade.
Jojo is innocent in jail because Annett Darcy tried to drown a man and he saved him. His lawyer David, Annett's brother, falsifies evidence and ultimately kills the victim. Meanwhile, Jojo breaks out of prison. Mia finds David. But he always manages to pull his head out of the noose.
Mia accidentally comes out illiterate on the radio, making herself the agency's mockery. Alex is innocently suspected of having sold secret photos of an agency contract to the public. Annett offers Mia 20,000 euros if she pretends to have sold the photos and to leave the agency forever. But Mia decides to uncover all of David's machinations. Annett and David try several times to kill Mia.
Richard becomes seriously ill and needs a kidney donation. Annett donates, whereupon her health deteriorates drastically. After spending a night with David, Natascha is pregnant. David filmed everything and blackmailed Natascha. If she doesn't overwrite him with her agency shares, he tells Richard about her affair. Alex has decided to part ways with Annett, but he refrains from doing so because of her poor health.
Mia had met a boy named Toni as a child after a car accident in the hospital, but had lost contact with him due to her illiteracy. Little does she know that Enrique Vegaz, the agent for the new agency client, is actually Toni. When she finds out, the two get closer and have a relationship.
Mia succeeds in having Jojo's innocence proven, but Annett's guilt cannot be proven initially. At the same time, Enrique Mia surprisingly proposes marriage. Mia asks for time to think about it, because she is just about to expose Annett. At the wedding with Alex, Annett is finally taken away by the police. But with the help of her brother David and her father Richard, who pays the bail, Annett is soon released from custody.
In an argument with his father Richard, David can no longer control himself and knocks him down. The resulting wound on Richard's head causes an aneurysm from which he dies a few days later. Before his death, Richard David said that he and Annett were not siblings, which was proven by a DNA test that David gave up shortly afterwards.
The agency is in a crisis: David and Annett prevent a saving order. In desperation, Mia tries to find a new investor with the help of a small scam, but fails. Annett and David manage to win the majority of the agency shares and forge wedding plans. Annett, however, still wants Alex's death and tries to kill him and Mia with a bomb in a gas-filled warehouse. Alex can defuse the bomb in time, but when David calls Annett on the cell phone a short time later, the gas explodes. Alex first brings Mia to safety and then wants to get Annett, but the fire has already spread too much. Because Annett appears to have died, David swears revenge.
Alex cannot remember anything temporarily after the explosion. With Mia's help, he manages to regain his memories bit by bit. Enrique does not like the closeness between Alex and his fiancée, but Mia stands by Enrique on her own and rejects Alex when he once again confesses his love to her. Happy Mia and Enrique decide to fly to Spain and get married there. Alex wants to wish Mia all the best before she leaves, but when he arrives at the airport, Mia and Enrique are already taking off. Mia sees Alex, realizes he's the right one, and parachutes out of the plane.
Shortly afterwards, Mia and Alex decide to get married. Annett, who survived the explosion and is now hiding with David, pumped full of painkillers, finds out about the planned wedding and hatches a nasty plan. Mia and Alex get a night in the luxury hotel with jacuzzi - apparently from their friends - for free. In reality, however, Annett is behind it. It poisons the champagne that Mia and Alex drink. As a result, the two of them, sitting in the whirlpool, get paralysis. Shortly before drowning, Enrique is able to save Mia and Alex. He came back to Berlin to wish Mia luck for her future. The next day, Mia and Alex get married.
3rd season (Anna & Tom; episodes 565-798)
After Mia and Alex are a couple and move to Rostock, Anna and Jonas start developing a new fashion collection. Shortly before the first fashion show, Jonas is run over by a car in a scuffle with criminals who want to steal the collection. However, his spirit rises out of his body and lives on in a kind of intermediate world.
Anna is initially unable to come to terms with reality. Due to the lost collection, she owes half a million euros, which is why the "Goldelse" is threatened with seizure. Having become aware of her fashion designs, Bruno Lanford, owner of the renowned fashion label “Lanford Luxury”, insists on employing Anna as a designer in his company. His son Tom Lanford agrees to take on her debts if she works for Lanford for a year. Finally Anna signs the contract, but suffers from the tyrannical behavior of her superiors Carla Rhonstedt. She sees Anna as a professional as well as private competitor and tries from then on by all means to get Anna out of the company.
After Jonas 'death, Natascha becomes addicted to alcohol and accuses Anna of complicity in Jonas' death. Eventually she sells the agency “Broda & Broda” and, with Bruno's help, begins a rehab that she can successfully end.
Jonas finds out that he has to find a new love for Anna and let her go, otherwise Anna would be forever unhappy and he would have to live forever in the intermediate world. With the help of a medium he can establish contact with Anna. This is a beggar named Paule who is actually Tom Lanford's sister Isabella. Jonas first wants to bring Anna together with Steve until he learns that Steve had caused the heist of her collection and was behind the wheel of the car that killed him. Steve is eventually arrested, but thanks to David's help, he escapes. He falls down a flight of stairs and dies as David and Carla bleed him to death. Anna gets together with Tom Lanford and Jonas turns into a star.
Anna's heavily pregnant half-sister Katja comes back to Berlin unexpectedly. After the birth of her son Nikolas, she tries to sell the child. Finally Hubertus, the father of her child, proposes to her and takes Katja and Nikolas with him.
Lily suddenly gets the feeling that she feels more for Jasmin than friendship. The whole thing ends in a three-way relationship between Lily, Jasmin and Jojo. Eventually it falls apart. A little later, Lily receives an offer to make a career as a dancer in Paris. She stays in Paris and leaves Jojo and Jasmin in Berlin.
Carla and David have Paule kidnapped. During the search, Tom is also briefly captured, but both are finally freed. David shoots the kidnapper so that he doesn't have any more problems. A little later, Carla kills David with a car bomb in order to take over the company.
The impostor Sandra Müller, who pretends to be Tom's late wife Fanni Lanford, tries to destroy Tom and Anna's relationship on behalf of Carla. Anna becomes suspicious and finds Nina Hinze in prison, who is investigating the fraud. Then Sandra first goes into hiding with her husband Frank, but comes back with him to demand that Carla reward him for cheating.
Anna and Tom get married. During the wedding celebration, Sandra and Frank steal a painting, kidnap Anna and Nina and throw them tied up into the water. Tom and Luca can save her. A little later, Sandra and Frank are shot by the police.
4th season (Nina & Luca; episodes 799-926)
During Anna and Tom's wedding, Paloma and Enrique lose control of themselves due to too much alcohol. When you wake up in Tom's office, you can't remember two days of your life. They later find out that they got married in Denmark. Both are torn between arguments and confessions of love. Eventually they file for divorce.
Katja temporarily stays with Tom and Anna after an erotic film she starred in was sold against her will in Germany. Katja can justify herself to Hubertus with the help of Anna and moves back to Hubertus with Nikolas.
Nina is shocked to learn that Luca is already engaged to the photographer Olivia. She decides to break off contact with him. Nina was convicted of the killing of Carla's brother Andreas, but cannot remember the night of the murder. When Bernd Lindenberg, Carla's father, shows up in Berlin, Carla is friendly towards Nina and helps her to get out of Bernd's way because she is afraid that he will push Nina out of the company if he should see her. After Nina turns out to be a talented fashion illustrator, Carla has Nina made designs that she claims to be her own.
Olivia and Luca plan a wedding, but realize at the last minute that it would be a mistake and break off the celebration.
Carla swaps her collection with Anna's, which is to be shown on a cruise ship. Nina, who is now in a relationship with Jojo, notices the mistake and tries to exchange the collections in good time. By accident, she got onto the ship with Anna, Tom and Luca, where Anna's collection was finally shown. Nina and Luca keep getting closer. Anna and Tom receive an offer to go to Barcelona, which they accept a little later.
Meanwhile, Maik's father Nick suddenly appears in Berlin. But Maik doesn't want any more contact with him because his father hasn't looked after him for years. It turns out that Maik made an inheritance. After all, both of them still get along.
Together with the scheming lawyer Kai, who wants to pursue a career at “Lanford Luxury”, Bernd does everything to throw Nina out of the company. Kai beats up a friend and pays her to hold Nina responsible for the police. Nina has to go to jail for one day. However, Bernd Lindenberg changes his mind about her and asks Kai to get Nina out of prison. For this he is to become the managing director of "Lanford Luxury".
Paule and Jasmin decide to recycle leftovers from old collections instead of throwing them away. They present their collection as a “remix”, but Bruno is annoyed about it. Natascha tries to change Bruno’s mind and is therefore fired by him. Paloma is then supposed to take over her job, which is difficult for her. While Enrique is on a business trip, Paloma confesses her love to him on his mailbox. However, Enrique forgot his cell phone in Berlin and so he doesn't listen to the message until he's back in Berlin. After all, he too confesses his love to her. To avoid speculation in their circle of acquaintances, they keep the relationship a secret for the time being.
Bruno reveals during the press conference that the new collection was not designed by Carla, but by Nina. A major press campaign develops that scandalizes Nina's criminal record. Many potential buyers resign at short notice and the company is soon facing bankruptcy. Carla stays in a monastery for a few weeks. After her return, she apologizes to Nina that she only used her to achieve her goals. Nina is initially speechless, but decides to give Carla one more chance.
Finally, Kai manages to become the second managing director of "Lanford Luxury". Meanwhile, Bruno has withdrawn to his country estate because he does not like the “Remix” collection from Paule. Neither Carla nor Luca can convince him that Paul’s collection is the only way to save the company's financial situation.
Nina can no longer stand lying to Jojo about her feelings for Luca and separates from him with a heavy heart. Since Carla has fallen in love with Luca, she tries to get Nina out of the way. She organizes a meeting of Bernd Lindenberg and Nina at "Lanford Luxury". When Nina sees Bernd, she tries to escape on a motorcycle, but Bernd grabs her shoulder and Nina falls.
Nina has to be admitted to the hospital immediately for an operation. She urgently needs a new kidney. Olivia has the same blood type as Nina and wants to donate a kidney to her. However, since she had an appendix operation ten years ago that nearly killed her, she decides against it. Carla also has her donor properties tested. It turns out that these are 99 percent the same as Nina's. Carla decides to donate a kidney to Nina because she knows that Luca would never cope with Nina's death.
Carla keeps Nina and Luca away from each other in the hospital. When Nina finds a love letter from Luca with Carla, she is furious and confronts Carla. She confesses to her that she loves Luca and that they both had a one-night stand. Luca tries to explain herself to Nina. Meanwhile, Kai finds out that Carla and Nina are half sisters.
Bruno suddenly reappears at “Lanford” and quits Paloma without notice, because he has read an interview in a newspaper in which there was bad talk about Bruno. After a conversation between Bernd and Bruno, they both publicly announce that each of them now owns 50 percent of the company shares. Bernd makes Luca the offer to hand him over 50 percent of the company shares in "Lanford Luxury" if Luca marries Carla. However, this is out of the question for Luca. He continues to refuse any contact with Bernd.
Olivia falls in love with Jojo and confesses this to Nina. At the same time, Jojo has a one-night stand with Minni. Bernd wants Nina to work for Lanford Luxury again, but she refuses. Instead, Carla made her the offer to start over with a designer in Munich. But Nina does not want to leave Carla Luca.
After an announcement from Virgin, Bruno changes his mind, reconciles with his daughter and dresses up with the “Remix” collection.
With the help of a DNA test, Kai found out that Carla is the daughter of Nina's father. She immediately attacks him with a statue and wants to kill him. Nina happens to be in front of the door and learns that Carla is her half-sister. And Nina suddenly, after seeing Carla with a statue, her memories come back. She remembers how Carla killed Andreas because he had found out the secret too.
Nina immediately tells Luca that she is innocent. Luca goes to Bernd and brings him the message. Bernd is stunned. After Carla learns that Bernd has been informed of what she did, she gets a pistol. Kai asks Carla to marry him. If she doesn't say yes , Kai threatens to tell her secret to everyone. Carla then shoots at Kai. This can be saved just in time.
Paloma and Enrique finally say yes to each other after a long back and forth. While everyone is celebrating comfortably in the "Goldelse", Carla appears there and points her gun at Luca and Nina. Luca can just stop her from committing murder. Then the police come and arrest Carla for the murder of her brother Andreas and attempted murder of Luca and Nina.
Luca confesses his true love to Nina and makes her a marriage proposal, which Nina accepts. The wedding ceremony takes place spontaneously in the Goldelse. All wedding guests label cards with good wishes for the newlyweds and let them rise into the sky on heart-shaped balloons. After all the balloons have risen into the sky, Minni hitchhikes back to Austria. The driver has a television in his car that shows short excerpts from the opening credits of Anna and Liebe.
At the end of the series, future events are summarized. Paloma and Enrique become parents. Olivia and Maik get together. Jojo returns to Lily and "Remix" opens its own shop. Finally, Nina can be seen as the managing director of "Lanford Luxury". In the last scene, Nina and Luca stand in front of the reception at “Lanford” and kiss. Then the camera moves back and allows a look at other cameras and the studio equipment. Then all actors and employees go through the picture to the theme song "Give me sun" by Rosenstolz.

production
Producers at Work GmbH, a subsidiary of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG , acted as the responsible production company . The telenovela was a co-production with ORF. In the medium term, Sat.1 was aiming for an audience rate of at least 11% in the advertising-relevant audience group between 14 and 49 years of age.
The original series title “In Liebe Lena” was later discarded because the telenovela viewers, who are typical of the genre short-cuts, would call the show “ILL” (English: “sick”).
Simple, two-syllable names without hard consonants were chosen for the main characters, which the viewer can easily pronounce and remember.
The series was originally conceived as a completed telenovela with 252 episodes. On May 14, 2009 the series was officially extended. Jeanette Biedermann played the main role until January 2010, her successor was Josephine Schmidt. In autumn 2010, the protagonists of the first season, Jeanette Biedermann and Roy Peter Link, took over their roles again. On June 24, 2011, Sat.1 announced that it would be extending the series for another year. The protagonists of the fourth season were Maria Wedig and Manuel Cortez. From November 7 to 11, 2011, three episodes were filmed on the cruise ship MSC Splendida .
Due to the ever-decreasing audience ratings, Sat.1 announced the end of the telenovela on January 23, 2012. March 2nd, 2012 was the last day of shooting.
Charisma
- At the beginning, ORF eins and Sat.1 broadcast the telenovela at the same time on the previous evening, the ORF free of advertising. However, on October 10, 2008, the slot at 7:00 p.m. was set back by half an hour due to the initially weak ratings. ORF Eins then broadcast the episodes at 6:25 p.m.
- Each episode can be downloaded for a fee from the iTunes Store . Until 2010 you could also receive a podcast there for the telenovela .
- The video-on-demand portal Maxdome contains an archive of all episodes that have been broadcast so far. The episodes of the following 5 days were also available there.
- Since January 2, 2011, the women's broadcaster sixx has broadcast the weekly repeat every Sunday and repeats the current episode on workdays.
- In October 2011, Sat.1 broadcast the last episode at 5:05 a.m. on weekdays for two weeks.
- In January 2012, three episodes that were not shot in the studio for the first time were broadcast. They played on the cruise ship MSC Splendida .
- In January 2012, the series was canceled. Between January 30 and April 13, 2012, the remaining episodes of the telenovela were broadcast on the women's channel sixx . The broadcast on ORF one remained unchanged.
Odds
The series achieved a market share of between 12% and 14% in the target group of 14 to 49 year olds at times and was thus often above the channel average for Sat.1. The show achieved the highest value with 17.5% market share in the target group, which corresponds to 2.71 million viewers, in November 2009.
In November 2011, Anna und die Liebe had a market share of 6.9%, which is only below average compared to the stations. The audience ratings for the fourth season could not hold the previous level and finally led to the announcement that the show would be discontinued at the beginning of 2012. After the broadcasting station switched to sixx, a range of 0.62 million viewers was measured in March 2012, which is for sixx corresponded to a market share of 4.2%.
The last two episodes followed an average of 0.29 (episode 925) and 0.43 (episode 926) million viewers among 14 to 49 year olds. This corresponded to a 2.2 and 3.0 percent market share. The broadcast of the last 53 episodes was a success for sixx.

Sat.1 made a total of several broadcast hours available for Anna and the love advertising in order to promote the production in formats, reports and documentaries of the station. On August 24, 2008, one day before the start of the broadcast, Anna und die Liebe - The Making Of was broadcast in the evening program from 18:40 on Sat.1. On the morning of the start, Jeanette Biedermann was a guest on Sat.1 breakfast television to advertise the program. This was followed at 10:30 am Anna und die Liebe - Special . In addition, there was intensive advertising on Sat.1, on ProSieben and on N24 in in-house news and boulevard programs, advertising trailers were switched between programs throughout the day and advertising was carried out via radio stations and billboard advertising.
There were also some other guest appearances, e.g. E.g. on August 26, 2008 in the program " Acts - Reporters Fight for You" , where an attempt was made to generate suitable topics for the telenovela. Immediately after the files - reporters uncovered the report followed 24 hours: "Anna and love - the making of" . The telenovela has been given a permanent place in the Sat.1 breakfast television program , where each episode and background was discussed and the upcoming episode was advertised the evening before. A background suitable for the telenovela was designed for this.
In addition to the online appearance of the program, the Anna und die Liebe production team started an online community for “shy people” in which the telenovela is advertised. In September 2008 sat1.de also started the Anna & die Liebe web magazine produced by Producers at Work , which was presented by Sebastian König . At the beginning of 2009 the web magazine went online with a new episode every Thursday, but this was discontinued after a short time.
