Kasia Borek

Katarzyna "Kasia" Borek (born April 30, 1984 in Hameln ) is a German actress and pop singer of Polish origin.

Career

Borek became known in Germany in 2010 for the soap opera Hand auf Herz , broadcast on Sat 1 , in which she played the role of student Emma Müller until the end of the series in September 2011 .

However, Borek first appeared in front of the camera in 1994 on the children's program Vampy on RTL 2 , which she hosted for two years. In 2004 she began her acting studies at the Łódź Film School , which she completed in 2008 with a master's degree.

From 2005 to 2007 first roles in short films at the Łódź Film School followed. In 2008 she was shown for the first time in Polish cinemas with the film Afonia and the Bees ( Afonia i pszczoły ), followed in 2009 by the films Jürgensplatz , Der böse Unkel , directed by Urs Odermatt , Felines Hirsch and Mensch ohne Hund .

From October 2011 to April 2012 she was on Sat.1 in the telenovela Anna und die Liebe in the role of Olivia "Liv" Kosmar . Kasia received the German Soap Award in the category "Fan Prize Female" for her role as "Emma Müller" in Hand auf Herz 2012 .
