German Soap Award
The German Soap Award is a 2011 and 2012, awarded at a gala event undoped Internet Award of the Internet portal mypromi.de the VIPshare Media for German actors soap operas and telenovelas . According to the company, “the series and their actors have so far hardly been appreciated, are often ignored at other award ceremonies and their acting skills are often not taken seriously.” It is an award within the industry.
Procedure
With the label MyPromi.de , the company VIPshare Media GmbH from Hamburg offers an online voting portal in which fans and celebrities can interact. Soap and telenovelas stars are nominated for an online community in various categories. The winner of the award in the respective category will be determined by voting on the Internet. According to the DWDL , the vote will take place in two steps. For example, a jury made up of ten producers should select the nominees in a preselection and the audience should now be able to vote for their candidates on www.mypromi.de and award their own fan prize for the actors. The prize is awarded to seven daily soaps and six telenovelas in eleven categories, "whereby no one is left out, from the best actor to the most beautiful lovers or the worst villain."
German Soap Award 2011
On Saturday, June 4th, 2011, the first German Soap Awards took place in the Grand Elysée Hotel in Hamburg. The organizer was the Sören Bauer Events agency from Hamburg. Protagonists from six telenovelas and seven daily soaps were nominated in a total of eleven categories. The presenter and former GZSZ actor Pete Dwojak hosted the evening.

On Friday, October 26th, 2012, the second German Soap Awards took place in the former Kosmos large cinema in Berlin . Protagonists from five telenovelas and six daily soaps were nominated in a total of nine categories.
