Holger Matthias Wilhelm
Holger Matthias Wilhelm (born June 14, 1976 in Regensburg ) is a German actor .
Life
Wilhelm initially worked in a commercial profession. However, from 2002 to 2005 he completed acting training at the Regensburg Drama School. In March 2005 he passed the stage actor exam there.
During his training he played the role of the National Socialist Ernst Ludwig in the musical Cabaret at the Schauspiel Compagnia Regensburg . In 2005 he took on the role of Willi Graf in a play about the resistance group The White Rose at the Junge Schauspiel Ensemble München .
Before completing his acting training, he was discovered by the actor and director Michael Lerchenberg , who then hired Wilhelm as an actor for the Luisenburg Festival . Wilhelm has been a member of the Luisenburg Festival ensemble since 2005, where he could be seen from 2005–2007 and in 2009/2010. Wilhelm played there, among others, Toni in The Servant of Two Lords , the Knecht Lorenz in Die Geierwally (both 2005), the police officer Klang in Pippi Longstocking , the musician Adolf in Der Wittiber by Ludwig Thoma (both 2006), Jussac in The Three Musketeers and a young aristocrat in the popular play Die Bernauerin (both 2007). In 2009 he was there in Peer Gynt , in the children's play Michel from Lönneberga and alongside Rosel Zech as an advertiser in Brecht's mother Courage and her children . In 2010 he played the thief Mich in a stage version of Tannöd at the Luisenburg Festival .
In the summer of 2009 Wilhelm did a successful casting at Bayerischer Rundfunk for the daily soap Dahoam is Dahoam . Since March 2010 he can be seen in the series in the lead role of Gregor Brunner. He plays the globetrotter and, for a long time, the lost son of the Brunner family, who returns to his home town of Lansing after a long stay abroad. The series role shows parallels to Wilhelm's own biography. In 2008/2009 Wilhelm undertook a 15-month world tour through Australia , New Zealand , the Fiji Islands and South Korea . With a working holiday visa , he worked as a fisherman , ranger , furniture maker and roofer, among other things .
In 2005 he played in the movie Ekkelins Knecht , a robber baron story from the Middle Ages . He also worked in a few short films .
In 2007 he founded the Volksbühne Spinnrad with his fellow actors in Regensburg . Wilhelm lives in Regensburg.
