Kaja Schmidt-Tychsen (born May 21, 1981 in Flensburg ) is a German actress .

Life

Kaja Schmidt-Tychsen studied acting at the Rostock University of Music and Theater ; In addition, first stage experiences at the Volkstheater Rostock and the Staatstheater Schwerin . For her performance of Luise in Kabale und Liebe at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen , she was awarded the Karl-Heinz-Walther-Preis as best young actress in 2006. The second permanent engagement took her to Ingolstadt, where she played Juliet in Romeo and Juliet , Ronja in Ronja the Robber's Daughter and Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream .

In 2008 she played a leading role in the ZDF series Paths to Happiness . Since December 8, 2011, she has been the fourth actress to play the role of Jennifer Steinkamp in the RTL series Everything that counts . The role was played first by Christiane Klimt , later by Silvia Maleen and lastly by Sophie Lutz . It is the first time in a German soap that four actresses play one and the same leading role.

In addition to German , she also speaks fluent Danish .
