Caroline Beil (born November 3, 1966 in Hamburg ) is a German television presenter and actress .

Life and work

Caroline Beil is the daughter of pop singer and trumpeter Peter Beil and his wife Barbara Kalweit, who was Miss Hamburg in 1964. She completed training in singing and acting, including in Los Angeles , where she became a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). After spending several years abroad and working as an international photo model , Beil studied sociology at the Hamburg University of Economics and Politics (HWP) from 1992 to 1995 , where she graduated with a degree in social economics . In addition, she worked as a voice actress and moderated the cinema magazine Film Up for RTL and the cinema magazine Movie 1 for Hamburg 1 .

In 1998, she played in 24 episodes of the ARD - Comedy Series A worthy house one of the leading roles. She became known through the moderation (1999 to 2004) of the tabloid magazine Blitz on the private television broadcaster Sat.1 . In 2004 she took part in the RTL jungle show I'm a star - get me out of here! part.

From 2011 to 2012 she was in the main cast of the ZDF series Herzflimmern in the role of Dr. Shirley Wilson.

In 2011 the Mami DVD , which she produced, was released , with a yoga section and tips about pregnancy. In July 2013 she was seen in the VOX show The Perfect Dinner . Since April 2015 she has moderated the daily lifestyle magazine doppio.tv, which is broadcast in Switzerland on TV24 . In August 2015 and 2016 she played a leading role in the play Hammerfrauen on the stage of the Berlin theater Die Wühlmäuse , which is led by Dieter Hallervorden .

In September 2015 the German duet album Relatively, on which Beil sings with Oliver Lukas and also wrote the lyrics for some songs, was released. The album was produced by Luis Rodriguez . In 2020 she took part in the second season of the television show The Masked Singer , on which she appeared as a singer in a robot costume .

From 1995 to 1996 she was married to the actor Jerry Marwig and from 2002 to 2005 with the publisher Hendrik te Neues (1952–2019). She has a son (* 2009) with Pete Dwojak , whom she met in summer 2006. The two separated in 2010. Since 2014 she has been in a relationship with the dentist Philipp-Marcus Sattler, whom she married in September 2018 in Scotland. In June 2017, she gave birth to a daughter at the age of 50.
