TV24 is a Swiss private, advertising-financed television broadcaster . It was founded in 2014 by AZ Medien AG . In 2016, the sister broadcaster TV25 went on air.

Like the regional channels TeleZüri , Tele M1 and TeleBärn, TV24 was part of the AZ Medien family of channels. CH Media , a joint venture between the NZZ media group and AZ Medien, has been the owner of the station family since 2018 . CH Media started operations on October 1, 2018.

TV24 shows a large number of top-class free TV premieres of US blockbusters and series highlights. In addition to well-known documentaries and Swiss films, TV24 also brings well-known Hollywood classics. Live top sport events from tennis to football, handball, athletics to ice hockey, riding and beach volleyball round off the program. With “Ninja Warrior Switzerland”, TV24 is launching its first large in-house production and combines the two existing program genres “Sport” and “Entertainment” in the new format. With its second in-house production, “Die Höhle der Löwen”, the Swiss entertainment broadcaster is bringing a globally popular TV format to Switzerland for the first time.

The station can be received in Switzerland via UPC Switzerland , Swisscom TV , Sunrise TV and many regional cable networks. The station can also be received via the Swiss version of Zattoo , Teleboy and Wilmaa .
