In 2007, the majority of shares in Espace Media Groupe, and thus also in TeleBärn, passed to the Zurich publishing house Tamedia . After Tamedia decided in 2011 to part with electronic media, the Aarau-based media company AZ Medien took over the station on January 1, 2012. Under the umbrella of AZ Medien, TeleBärn formed a real family of stations together with the stations TeleZüri and Tele M1 .

program

After a changing program in the afternoon and the evening before (2:00 pm - 6:00 pm), TeleBärn's main program begins at 6:00 pm. The program hour 6.00–7.00 pm is repeated every hour after the first broadcast, with the regional news being updated well into the night if the news is appropriate. In order to support the connection to the region, the programs are moderated in dialect. The core of the program is the regional news program News . The station's video journalists produce around a quarter of an hour of news every day. The focus is on current stories from the cantons of Bern and Solothurn. At major events, the station also deals with national or international topics. The daily reporting from the region - following the news - is rounded off by the program Fokus (the regional talk of the day) and the regional weather show. Since 2012, the health magazine Check-up can be seen on Monday instead of Focus . Various current talk and entertainment programs follow in the second half hour of the program.

In the Bernese city council and municipal elections TeleBärn sends all afternoon live from the Bernese town hall .
