Nikolaus Gottfried Stuber (* 1688 ; † 1749 ) was a German Baroque painter .

His most important works include the altarpiece of the monastery church in Aldersbach (1720/30), the redesign of the high altar of the parish church of St. Peter in Munich (from 1730) and the ceiling fresco The Defense of Faith in the church of the Teutonic Order Castle in Bad Mergentheim (1731–1734 ).

In 1731 in the baptismal register of Brühl near Cologne he was named "electoral court painter".

Presumably he also worked with his father Caspar Gottfried Stuber on the frescoed ceilings in the old parish church of St. Margaret in Untersendling .
