action

This time, private detective Georg Wilsberg has to help his girlfriend Anna Springer. She found a dead call boy in her hotel room. As a police officer, she does not want to come under suspicion of murder and, above all, avert an impending scandal. However, it will be deducted from the case, so that Overbeck will be given the lead. It is only with difficulty that she can still secure the hotel's surveillance tapes, which she could betray.

Wilsberg immediately got in touch with the “Dreamboys” agency for whom the victim had worked. Surprisingly, it is run by Tessa Harderer, whom Alex knew from college. Wilsberg takes the victim's customer list in the hope of finding a motive for the murder. Among the customers are the pharmacist's wife, who has a very jealous husband, and Christiane Schönsee, whose husband is working on a city project.

For additional research, Wilsberg smuggles Ekki in as the new callboy in the agency. This gives the detective clues about possible tensions within the callboy scene. It turns out that they extorted their clients afterwards. For example, the pharmacist secretly supplies the callboys with sexual enhancers. Furthermore, the boys swap the missions with each other and so it is conceivable that someone else should actually be the victim. Ingo Vogt should have appeared at the hotel on the evening of the crime. Wilsberg investigates and finds out that Vogt had discovered a subsidy fraud by Robert Schönsee. Since Schönsee has not yet achieved his goal of eliminating the blackmailer, Wilsberg believes Ingo Vogt is in great danger. He informs the police and Commissioner Springer arrests Schönsee.

criticism

Rainer Tittelbach from tittelbach.tv rated it with praise: “The new 'Wilsberg' has everything that distinguishes the series - in particular a close-knit network of lovingly drawn relationships. Little by little, all the threads of the plot come together and the fun plays the main role again. ”Even if the actual thriller“ remains a nice minor matter, as always, ”the“ comic in 'fresh meat' attracts a lot. ”We experience“ situational wit and comic characters , a little Loriot, a touch of Didi - what more could you want ?! "

Quota meter criticized: "The potential of the obviously quite controversial topic remains [...] completely unused."

The editorial staff of TV Spielfilm , on the other hand, gave the crime thriller a “thumbs up” and said with praise: “The dialogues are fun - even if the film would have been good for a larger portion of madness.” Conclusion: “The motto: A little bit of fun has to be. "
