Julia Hartmann (actress)
Julia Hartmann (born July 9, 1985 in East Berlin ) is a German theater , cinema and TV actress .
Life
Hartmann comes from a family of artists. Her father was a theater dramaturge in the GDR , her mother a dancer. She stood in front of the camera for the first time at the age of eleven and has since appeared in various film and television productions. From 2004 to 2008 she studied at the drama school in Bochum . In her third year of study, at the instigation of her half-brother, the director Sebastian Hartmann , she was engaged at the Burgtheater in Vienna , where she played Juliet in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet . In the 2007/2008 season she was a permanent member of the Burgtheater ensemble and then performed there as a guest in various productions until the 2009/2010 season. At the Schauspielhaus Bochum she played The Bride in Bertolt Brecht's Die Kleinbürgerhochzeit from 2007 to 2009 . This production won the ensemble and audience award at the theater meeting of German-speaking drama students in Salzburg .
Since appearing at the side of Matthias Schweighöfer and Christian Tramitz in the Austrian-German cinema comedy 3faltig in 2010, she has also appeared in several films.
Hartmann lives in Berlin .
