Crashpoint - 90 Minutes to the Crash is a German action thriller from 2009 .

The first broadcast took place on August 17, 2009 on ProSieben and was seen by 2.59 million viewers.

action

The film is about the fictional flight EA-714 from Nice to Munich . Shortly after take-off, the machine collided with a small sports aircraft , which tore a leak in the cargo hold and damaged the hydraulics , causing all controls on board to fail.

According to calculations, the incapable of maneuvering aircraft would crash in the middle of downtown Berlin within 90 minutes .

The crew tried desperately in the air and on the ground to avert the disaster. Flight captain Winkler and copilot Niclas Sedlaczek see only one chance to survive: the defective controls in the torn open cargo hold must be repaired. But there is not much time for that. The order to kill the plane has already been given, and the head of the airline has already given up on passengers . After an unsuccessful attempt by an engineer, a young boy succeeds in repairing controls in a narrow area in the stern, and a controlled emergency landing takes place, during which the aircraft is largely destroyed, but the fuselage and passengers remain intact.

criticism

"[...] it's a shame that such a good film is still very unrealistic in the end ..."
