Horst Sachtleben

Horst Sachtleben (born September 24, 1930 in Berlin ) is a German actor , director and voice actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Sachtleben first studied theater studies in Berlin and took acting lessons at the same time. This was followed by engagements at numerous German-speaking theaters - for example in Berlin, at the Schauspielhaus Zürich (1957–1961), Bonn and, since 1961, for many years at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich, where he often directed. He has also made guest appearances with touring theaters in many other cities. In 1967 Sachtleben was awarded the Bavarian State Prize for his services to the stage . At the Bad Hersfeld Festival , he appeared in the 2010 season as Freiherr von Attinghausen in Wilhelm Tell , for which he was awarded the Great Hersfeld Prize .

In 1962 he made his television debut in the drama Obituary for Jürgen Trahnke . Horst Sachtleben is married to the actress Pia Hänggi .
