Viktoria, tough official of a wealthy Munich soccer club, travels to Dortmund to poach its best player from the traditional club Borussia Dortmund . Philipp, an ardent admirer of the traditional BVB, overheard this and discussed with Viktoria in the fan block of the Westfalenstadion when she was hit on the head by a ball and passed out. Paramedics find that she has severe amnesia and cannot remember her previous life. In order to prevent the transfer of the star player from Dortmund to Bavaria , the widowed family man Philipp makes a decision: he pretends to be the husband of the injured to the doctors and tells Viktoria that she is his wife Dörte, the mother of his two sons and the daughter of his demented father-in-law. His relatives and friends, all of whom are Borussia fans, cover up the hoax. In fact, Viktoria / Dörte quickly gets used to everyday family life and helps Philipp, among other things, to organize his financial affairs and give the demented grandpa treatment.
When her memory comes back, Viktoria angrily travels back to Munich. Philipp notices that he has fallen in love with Victoria and follows her to the Bavarian capital. There he looks for her in the fully occupied Allianz Arena . Moved by Philip's courage to look for her in Bavarian national costume on the lawn of the sold-out stadium and then to identify himself as a supporter of Borussia Dortmund, she forgives Philipp. Both become a couple and return to Dortmund. The film ends with both sitting in a fan block of Dortmund fans, wearing a red jersey from her home club.

The film production funded by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW with 250,000 euros was initially announced as a feature film. The shooting started in June 2016 in Dortmund, Cologne and the surrounding area. The film premiered on September 29, 2016 in Dortmund.
