Vert-en-Drouais is a French commune with 1,091 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Dreux and the canton Dreux-1 (until 2015: canton Dreux-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Verdurocassiens .
geography
Vert-en-Drouais is about six kilometers west-northwest of Dreux city center . The Avre River limits the municipality to the north. Vert-en-Drouais is surrounded by the neighboring communities Mesnil-sur-l'Estrée in the north, Muzy in the northeast, Dreux in the east, Vernouillet in the southeast, Allainville and Louvilliers-en-Drouais in the south, and Saint-Rémy-sur-Avre in the West and Saint-Germain-sur-Avre to the northwest.
The National Route 12 runs through the municipality .
