Saint-Rémy-sur-Avre is located on the Avre River on the border between the Beauce and Normandy countryside . Saint-Rémy-sur-Avre is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of La Madeleine-de-Nonancourt in the north, Saint-Germain-sur-Avre in the northeast, Vert-en-Drouais in the east, Louvilliers-en-Drouais in the southeast, Boissy-en -Drouais in the south, Escorpain in the southwest, Saint-Lubin-des-Joncherets the west and Nonancourt in the northwest. Route nationale 12 and route nationale 154 pass through the municipality .
