Marchezais is a French municipality with 342 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Dreux and the canton Anet . The inhabitants are called Marcherois .
geography
Marchezais is located about 38 kilometers north of Chartres and about 58 kilometers west-southwest of Paris . Marchezais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bû in the north, Havelu in the northeast, Goussainville in the east, Broué in the south and Serville in the west.
